Family friendly Sea Heaven features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and is located on beautiful Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Sea Heaven is the perfect home base as you explore all Cape Hatteras National Seashore has to offer. Smoke-free, pet-free home. Sleeps 12.

The space

This private home features:

Hot Tub - Relax in the hot tub or let the sea breeze gently rock you to sleep as you lounge in one of the swinging hammock chairs located on the covered lower deck.

Outdoor cedar shower with hot & cold water and rinsing station with hose.

5 Bedrooms: All Linens provided. Beds made upon arrival.
All 5 bedrooms and laundry area are located on the first level.
Bedroom 1: Queen Master Suite with private bath and lower deck access to hot tub.
Bedroom 2: Queen Master Suite with private bath
Bedroom 3: Queen bedroom with lower deck access to hot tub.
Bedroom 4: Twin daybed with trundle (Sleeps 2)

Sea Heaven has a maximum capacity of 12 people.

Brand new small kitchen appliances , refrigerator with ice-maker, 2 large stockpots for seafood boils, crab mallets and picks, roasting pans, crockpot, electric griddle, electric can opener, 4 slice Cuisinart toaster, Cuisinart blender, Cuisinart cutlery, pizza stone, hand mixer, rolling pin, plenty of serving bowls & platters, measuring spoons, measuring cups, cocktail glasses, wine glasses, kid-friendly plates and cups, glass storage containers, tupperware & more!

Coffee bar with Keurig Coffee Maker and 14 cup Coffee Maker. Assorted coffee and teas available.

Serve dinner at the dining table that can comfortably seat 8 or belly up to the breakfast bar that seats 4.

Wide upper level sundeck! Enjoy dinner or cocktails under the stars on the spacious sundeck where you will find a picnic table that seats 6, a bar height table and chairs for 2 and 2 Adirondack rockers just for relaxing or stargazing.

Relax in the cozy living area with ocean views, a 60 inch Smart TV with ROKU, an XBOX 360, DVD player and plenty of board games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy!

The Extras!

Welcome Basket - Guests are treated to a welcome basket filled with an assortment of snacks. We also provide assorted coffee and tea for our coffee bar and starter supplies that include dishwashing liquid & dishwasher pods, kitchen sponge and towel set, paper towel roll & laundry detergent pods. in addition, each bathroom will have hand soap, extra toilet paper, trial size shampoo & conditioner.

Beach Gear - Our Guests will have access to 6 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, boogie boards, corn hole, sand toys & 3 beach cruisers for exploring the island.

Baby Equipment -Sea Heaven has 1 pack n' play, 1 high chair and 2 booster seats. We recommend reserving additional equipment with Ocean Atlantic Rentals in Avon, NC.

Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of 3 locked owners closets.

Additional notes

Sea Oats Drive is a private road that leads directly to the beach. It is made of sand and gravel. Depending on weather conditions, it can sometimes be a nuisance to travel due to large puddles and pot holes. We recommend a high clearance vehicle though not necessary.

Neighborhood overview

Sea Heaven is located in peaceful Rodanthe, the first village located on the north end of Hatteras Island, NC. Rodanthe will transport you to simpler times and away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The area attracts nature lovers, fishermen, water sports enthusiasts, star-gazers, sun-bathers, history buffs and anyone seeking to just feel the breeze and be at ease. We are nestled on a quiet, private road that leads directly to the beach. Sea Heaven is within walking distance to the iconic home featured in the Nights in Rodanthe movie, the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station Museum and the an amazing, pirate ship themed playground and huge skate park located behind the Rodanthe -Waves -Salvo community center. Rodanthe Harbor is also located behind the community center, where you can put in your kayak or paddle board and watch the sunset over the Pamlico Sound.

Getting around

The Tri-Village area can be easily explored via car or bike! Sea Heaven has 3 beach cruisers available for our guests. If you need additional bikes, Island Cycles and Beach Gear Rentals is within walking distance to Sea Heaven. Be sure to ask for your Sea Heaven discount! Peddle over to the sound for a spectacular sunset or tour the 7 mile scenic, coastal bike path that starts just past Sea Oats Drive. The small villages of Salvo, Avon, Buxton and Frisco are all within a short drive. Explore the Bodie & Hatteras Lighthouse, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, and all the beautiful wildlife and beaches up and down HWY 12 South. Don't forget to take the scenic ferry ride to Ocracoke for a day of exploring!

House Rules

Thank you for respecting our house rules.

1. Our home is a NON-SMOKING home.

2. No pets allowed.

3. No parties/events. Sea Heaven has a 12 person maximum occupancy.

4. A/C: To avoid a service call, please do not set the thermostat below 68 degrees as it will cause the system to freeze up and stop working. We also ask that you keep all doors and windows closed while the A/C is running. There is a thermostat on upper and lower level.

5. No candles or portable gas fire pits are allowed anywhere on the premises. (We have provided battery-operated candles for you to enjoy during your stay.)

6. All house furniture and bed linens are to remain inside the home.

7. Sand: Please rinse off in outdoor shower or with hose before entering home.

8. Do not place hot pots & pans on laminate kitchen countertop.

9. Hot Tub: Sand is very harmful to hot tubs! Please rinse off before entering. Glass is not permitted in the hot tub. Children under the age of 12 should be supervised by an adult.

10. If you use Sea Heaven beach equipment & bikes, we ask that you please treat them kindly so other guests can enjoy & put them back in the storage closet at the end of each day.
